Who We Are

I had written a review for Cat's View in 2012, so I think it's appropriate to write again, as enough time has passed, and I've had many more visits with my 3 cats. Dr. Matthews and all her staff are superb. It is STILL nice to not have my cats scared by a barking dog. She has saved one of my cats from a rattlesnake

Doc and her staff have been amazing to our cats and there is no one else we would trust with our babies. Kudos to doc because she really loves what she does and truly cares for your kitties like they are her own and her staff are just as loving, caring and attentive. If you are looking for a vet, look no further, doc and her staff will welcome your cat/ kitty with open arms and you will have the peace of mind knowing that they are truly in great hands because our cats are living proof.

My cat, Toby, actually likes going to this vet clinic! He purrs, kneads, and is affectionate when he is there. They give him such good treatment and they are considerate of the client's budget and treatment preference. This is a great place to bring your felines, especially if they require a calm, quiet atmosphere. The staff is kind and Dr. Matthews is gentle, informative, and gives treatment options. All around, it's a nice experience to bring my cat here.

If you have cats, this is the only place to go. We have never been SO happy with a vet and staff! We feel confident that our fur babies are receiving the best care, by people who love cats as much as we do. Professional, accredited, knowledgeable. Best referral ever, and best decision ever. You will not go wrong. Dr. Nancy Matthews, and everyone there, are simply amazing!

Can't say enough about a Cats View. Truly the best care, the best team. My husband and I absolutely love the staff, the Doctor and facility. If you want a special place that will care for your feline baby there is not a place we recommend more.

There are not enough stars in all of Yelp to recommend this vet enough. Knowledgeable. Kind. Family feel. I want to cry finally finding someone that seems to actually care about my little ones. Not to mention all too sweet to my toddler. What could have been a very stressful situation for me was a breeze. Happy to have found my forever vet!!

I cannot recommend this vet enough. The care they provide is worth the commute, by far the best care for your cat in north county, if not all of San Diego. I originally brought my cat here five years ago, after being turned away by many local vets in Escondido because they did not want to deal with his bladder infection. When I came across this vet office and gave them a call, they were immediately attentive towards the issue and saw him right away. Dr. Matthews provides quality, compassionate care that I am very grateful for.

They have been absolutely amazing with my cats ! I've had a lot of experience with vets and I can truly say I'd take my cats to no one else. They are always able to accommodate and get them in as needed, and show lots of compassion when dealing with them. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and I very much trust their opinions when it comes to how to care for them etc.

I was recommended to this place by a family member after I had taken my cat to two different vets they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. After bring him to Dr. Matthew she figured out what was wrong with him. I have been bringing my two cats to this place for the last five years. The staff is always amazing and attentive making my cats feel safe. I really enjoy that they focus on cats rather than other places where they deals with all type of animals. I really recommend this place even though it's a bit of a drive I still come here some of the best service.

The Dr's and staff are all so nice and gave such great care to my scared, injured cat. This was my first time here and I will never go to another vet again. They are so focused on making you and your cat comfortable, from the pheromone blankets and bird sounds in the lobby to the fountain sounds in the treatment rooms, it's incredible. They had a tv in the treatment room with video of birds and squirrels eating and my cat was riveted! The care was excellent and I highly recommend bringing your cat here!

Every time I bring my cat here, we are always greeted with a friendly staff who adore cats. They are professional, caring, knowledgeable and provide a small space dedicated to cats' peace. I love bringing my cats here and ever since we switched vets they don't struggle to get in the kennel as much.

I just started taking my 3 kitties to A Cat's View. I found them on Google and very glad I did. Having a cat-only vet is a priority for me. I really enjoyed my first experience. The atmosphere is great and calming for cats. The vets and staff are knowledgeable. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend taking your kitties to this excellent cat-only vet.

We had such a pleasant visit! We just got our first cat and they helped educate us on everything as well as ask any questions. You can tell they all LOVE cats.

We are so thankful to have found this wonderful vet. My cat, who doesn't like people actually loves going there and loves all the people (I know it's weird). The first time I took her in I actually got medication to relax her based on her behavior at previous offices and the lasting trauma even after we got home. At A Cat's View she is completely relaxed, purr and rubs on everyone who come in to see her. We never had to medicate her again. Even more importantly they are great vets, truly cat experts and cat lovers.

Dr. Nancy Matthews and staff are the most amazing bunch of cat lovers. Every time I have been in my kitties are treated like royalty. Even my shyest girl loves it here.
